That's what they would LIKE us to do.
However, the push for war was on for months, the facts were overblown (if not just made up), it polarized this nation, pushed away our allies and had millions marching against the pre-emptive strike in streets across the world.
Forget about it? Like it doesn;t really matter?
Hell, we broke international law!

and now all the hooey is coming back to haunt them.
Arrogance in the halls of power.
Guess what? we, the people, are unforgiving, until we get a confirmation and an apology.

With the spotlight on them, they freeze like deer in the the headlights.
