I remember seeing the Apollo 14, 15 and 16 moonwalks, live on public TV, without any commercial breaks!
Commercial TV channels have, today, here, tried to show science-related programs. They lasted once or twice and then......pfft..gone!
A channel like Discovery channel requires an antenna dish and a subscription and the same parabola shows plenty of other programs I'm not interested to look at, and I'd still would have to pay for them.
