It may have been an email faked to have originated from Bolye's email address. This happened to me in regard to the Sobig virus. I got a return email from AOL that said it could not deliver an email of mine because it contained a virus. I was actually on vacation and away from my computer during the time this alleged email of mine was sent so it could not have originated with my computer. I scanned my computer to be sure and found it was not infected.
This spoofing thing is another thing that needs to be addressed as well as the spread of email viruses.
BTW, I like the fact that AOL automatically scans emails for viruses and won't deliver them if they are found to be infected. Hotmail and MSN.com also do this. I've sent some angry emails to Yahoo because they do not do this and as a result my mailbox limits are being exceeded from these fake, virus- infected emails.
