Chutzpah Award of the Month

Palestinian terror groups indignantly called off the Israeli/Palestinian "truce" after an Israeli military attack on Hamas leadership after the bus bombing in which 20 civilians, including six children, died.

Israel was, of course, blamed by Palestinians for wrecking the peace process, a tack that no doubt will be repeated by the leftist buttmonkeys in the media and elsewhere.

The targeted attack brought the already tenuous truce between Palestinian militant groups and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas (search) perilously close to destruction and threw another wrench into any progress being made on the U.S.-backed Mideast roadmap for peace.

A senior Hamas official on Thursday declared the cease-fire previously agreed upon between militant groups dead. Islamic Jihad also called off the truce.

"We consider ourselves free from this cease-fire," said Hamas official Ibrahim Hanieh.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been climbing all over each other to eagerly claim responsibility for the Israel bus bombing.

In an amazing example of chutzpah, or maybe just the raving psychosis of these creatures, they did not apparently consider their own murderous actions as any form of breaking the "truce."

Israelis earlier captured some bombers on the way to kill more civilians, also during the "truce."

As many people suspected it would be, the "truce" was used by Palestinian terror groups to regroup and generate more attacks while the Israelis held off. This has been the pattern every other time Israel has pulled back.

A couple of other small items:

A slideshow of how some Palestinans raise their kids.

NPR's Julie McCarthy accidentally calls the bus bombers "terrorists" before quickly correcting herself with the politically-correct term "militants."
