re:- CO2 on Mars
Interesting facts about CO2:
1) Mars has 200 times more atmospheric CO2 than Earth.
2) 95% of all CO2 in Earth's atmosphere today is produced by life. The rest comes from volcanic activity and some from humans.
CO2 and O3 questions:
1) CO2 is photodissociated by solar UV into CO and O. Why has CO2 in the Martian atmosphere remained constant while atmopheric O2 is sputtered off to space?
2) What is the origianl source of O3 (ozone) in the Martian atmosphere?
