What are the chances that artificial gravity is possible?
And I'm not talking about gravity produced by centrifugal force. I saw a show about gravity on the Discovery channel today that got me thinking about this subject.
In my opinion, if gravity is made up of particles then we should be able to reproduce it. After all, we can produce just about every other type of particle known. The same should be possible if gravity exist in a wave form. We can produce magnetic fields and light with our technology, so why not gravity fields?
The only way I can see a problem with controlling gravity is if it is an effect caused by a massive object warping space/time. If this is the case, it'll be extremely hard to produce.
Any thoughts on the subject?
