Case In Point

You bring the hab sims as if I am involved other than being a member of the Mars Society when I am not and you have been told that many times and have no evidence to support such a claim. A clear measure of your standards of evidence and willingness to make conclusions and state them as fact with little or no support.

Instead of debating issues of biology and biochemistry which I bring up you choose to change topics to this unsupported tack. Classic pseudo-science diversion tactic Barry and it is the clearest evidence there is that you are a quack. Being appointed to a research group known for having its conclusions (no big bang, flu from space) rejected by the scientific community for decades is hardly a ringing endorsement of your scientific ability. You have no science degree or training and it shows. You have the curiousity of a scientist but not the objectivity or self-skepticism of a scientist. It is nice to know that you finally found a way to make money off that whole ICAMSR thing though by leveraging it into a paying position. It is a paying position right, not just some honorary position you can use as a self-promotional tool?

You are quite right that RL's training in physics does not make him an expert at astrobiology nor does your hobby make you any more of one than the real biologists doing work at the MS habs. Being a real scientist or engineer does however make it easy to spot people who don't understand scientific standards of evidence or use sloppy logic. RL is quite qualified to spot you doing that and that is quite clearly what he is referring to.

Regards,
Mark
