re: Telling it Like it -- Isn't . . . ?

I thought I was one of your favorites...
:^(

1. At least as "legal" an election as any other.

2. Ignored? Nonsense. They were filed and investigated, just as they had been for decades.

3. Used the attacks to pass legislation, but hardly "ruinous".

4. Passing along information -- which is what point 1 seemed to be all for.

5. No shame is needed.

6. Hardly "like-minded", as certain "sensationalized" high-level arguments on Capitol Hill bear out. And there's really nothing more to be said about this one.

7. Troop preparedness is essential to any victory -- but some apparently don't fight to win.

8. Bantering dribble, with little base in fact. The resolution was a solid one and passed. Stonewalling by Iraqi special interest groups (Germany, France, & Russia) threw the lever for battle.

9. The evidence was there.

10. Hardly an issue.

11. The terrible "16 words" remain truthful, regardless. You should try reading them without your "special" glasses.

12. This was known and supported at the time (where were you?), and remains so today.

13. More useless drivel.

14. As any politician would do -- though the "evidence" actually appears to be British, not Nigerian.

15. Baseless opinion -- right down to the trouble Pitt seems to have with actual numbers for his supposed percentages.

16. That is called war (exactly what the leader of Iraq desired), and shit happens.

17. I stand by the "Bring 'em on," statement, as do the troops currently standing watch in the Middle East, and around the world.

18. Ignorance is bliss -- and Pitt. He seems to wish to ignore all pre-battle evidence that said otherwise, and, more importantly, may still hold very true. He seems also to consider our function in Iraq concluded. Far from. Iraq is one hell of a big crime scene, and we’ll be seeing more atrocities “dug up” there, likely throughout this decade and into the next.

19. The US is far safer than it was, and Iraq is the chosen battlefield. Pitt would likely prefer it to take place in his backyard. We prefer it off US soil.

20. just another crap-whine here.

Not much to argue, Lindy, for little is ever said by the Mighty Pitt.

Cheers to you and yours,
Dan
