I simply LOVED your response to this scam. I had to use it and sent the following e-mail:

Edward, that's fantastic! I'm SO excited about winning a million and a half bucks! I want to share it with you! Listen, you don't need my account number to transfer funds. I don't want a transfer! I'll make you a deal you'd be CRAZY to turn down: You hereby have my permission to deduct US$500,000 for yourself (yes, that's US$ FIVE HUNDRED-THOUSAND!) to use to buy yourself a plane ticket to fly over here and deliver me a cashier's check for the balance of one million dollars. YOU GET TO KEEP WHATEVER'S LEFT AFTER YOUR EXPENSES OUT OF THAT HALF MILLION FOR YOURSELF! That's right! I'll pay you $500,000 in advance to bring me my winnings! You take it from my winnings and bring me the rest okay? Hey, don't thank me, that's just the generous kinda guy I am. It's the least I can do to repay you!
