et--"Your kidding of course. Expecting Galileo to have an effect on Jupiter, atomic or otherwise, is like expecting a drop of hot water into the Pacific would cause it to boil away."
J--I would add that you could drop the whole Earth into Jupiter without making much of a stir.
et--Hmmm, I dunno D-Dub. Our resident atmospheric scientist(extreme sarcasm) Johannes might have an equation that "proves" this is possible.
J--Sorry, I have not had the time to figure out which straw it is that can brake the camels back , or which radioactive molecule it is that will give the excessive energy to the Earth's atmosphere. I will work on it if I get the time. :-)
All I can say for certain at this time is that if the kinetic energy of the Earth's atmosphere is increased, then there will be more atmospheric molecules 'escaping' into space.
