The fact that the agressor in WW1 and 2, the patsy in WW1 and 2, and that paragon of national and civil rights Russia lead opposition to liberating people who already had tried to liberate themselves but failed is hardly reason for any believe in fighting for democracy to cast doubt on their position.

What was your stance on Eastern Europe before the Soviet Union collapsed Lindy? Protesting sticking our nose where it didn't belong there too?

Now I'll grant you there is reason to wonder if Bush and Chaney cronies are abusing their contacts and vica versa you have to compare their percentage of Iraqi contracts to the percentage of comparable busines they do in the US to judge unfair advantage not just the absolute percentage as the press has. I suspect abuse too, but the press has not come close to proving it. The idea that the war was started to benefit these folks however is silly because risking a presidency is no way to gaurantee all benefit to all your cronies. The best way to hand out goodies is to stay in power not risk your political neck in a marginally supported war. Just as silly as your ignoring oil economics to claim the war is about oil.
