Sadly, I don't get to read many of the posts around here, so I may have missed this fact entirely (if true).
As for Mostly they ignore the way Saddam ran his nation as irrelevant.: (assuming you are referring to the human rights portion of his rule) I think it is *certainly* irrelevant to whether he had NBC weapons and to whether he was an active partner with al-Qeda and to whether he had something to do with 9/11.
