For XP users on an NT domain
Since one of the last XP service packs XP has turned into a dog when trying to browse through networked shared drives and folders on my NT domain. I have been trying to solve this for about 3 weeks and finally came onto the solution. Disabling Webclient in Services seems to have finally fixed it. Hopefully this will help somebody else so they can get rid of the excruciating XP Pause like I have.
