This is so cool. Normally, the working denizens of Boston must abide by the 'big city's' 2AM bar closing rules. EXCEPT that now the DNC wants Boston <a href="http://www2.bostonherald.com/news/local_regional/dems09112003.htm'>; bars open until 4AM to satisfy the party elite at next summah's Democratic Nomination Conference in Boston. I mean we can't have pols abiding by the same rules as citizens can we? Imagine govt employees or congresscritters having to use social security instead of their generous pension systems? Or having to subscribe to HMOs instead of the preferred govt health care treatment. Curiously enough, the Big Dig for the 1st time in well over a decade is mysteriously ahead of schedule geting the mess cleaned up. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.
