From the Wall Street Journal.

I've been following this for a few years, and although it rarely makes the papers, hardly a legislative session goes by in Washington where the Democrats haven't tried to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine and muzzle the only major media form that isn't firmly in their Buttmonkey Column.

Shutting up the opposition is standard operating procedure for the Left, from shouting down opposing views on a college campus to removing dissenting newspapers in socialist-ruled countries.

Oh, they've tried to get their own views into the talk radio field, but although their excuses for failure are many, the hard fact is that listeners don't want to hear what they have to say,* and advertisers act accordingly.

This time they're going full tilt.

*Which is, largely, that almost every value the average American holds, sucks.
