The Japanese are different...
Although they are happily Westernized, and have many of the same values we do, the Japanese mind still sits in a dimension very, very far away. The Twilight Zone is next door by comparison. Some of their comic books will keep you awake at night.
Singing eggplants. Someone attempts an explanation. It doesn't help.
These are fellow human beings. I have no idea how we are ever going to communicate with real aliens when they show up.
