This (that is your reaction) is exactly what I meant when I talked about people brainwashing themselves. You don't want to hear anything positive, if it is possitive, then you twist it to a negative. And anything Negative, no matter how insignificant and inapplicable, is viewed as some shiny holy grail of proof for your dillusions. Here is one guy, one guy, doing what soldiers do best, bitching and complaining. If I printed this out and handed it around my work area, do you know how many people would give a crap? none. Read the last paragraph, he's pissed off because he got deployed, well boo friggin hoo. "What? he joined the army and got deployed somewhere dangerous?! Whats this world coming to?!!!" You have absolutely no idea what goes on in our military day to day. Just because theres a magnifying lens on one region and the press desides to report every little scratch a soldier takes doesn't mean that iraq or afganistan is the only place stuff happens. This stuff always goes on, everywhere.

This guy goes on to bitch about the army medical service, as if two screwed up army doctors are some how reflective of the armys' presence in the region. Grab a number and get in line, I had to take my buddy to the hospital this morning, he went to the emergency room and they told him to his face he wasn't a high enough rank to be seen. You still want government health care? it works great in the army.
