You also know I was against our going into Iraq with out the support of some of our most important allies.

I know a little more than this -- unless you are now saying you would have supported the attack without UN, but with NATO support? I’m under the impression that support for the US would not have changed your current view of the Battle for Iraq -- much.

We are NOT "securing the peace", and what's worse, our actions have created THOUSANDS more willing to fight this holy war with us. Nothing like stepping on an ant pile and stirring them up. It’s a no-win situation.

‘Fraid we are, Lindy. Not much I can do here to relay that to you, other than suggesting you widen your news library to include the positive effects we are having in Iraq. Dr. Bob Arnot/NBC News was reporting on the blast today at his hotel (occurred while he was sleeping, btw). Even he states that these attacks detract from the “real” news of Iraq, and that is the progress that is taking place.

Maybe you missed that little tidbit...

I know you and a few others on this board disagree with me, but history will be the judge of that. There is no way that our invasion of Iraq has secured ANY peace ANY where. Just created more animosity.
