The thin patina of democracy in this sad messed up country easily rubs off to reveal what would be a shameful insult to the founding people who fought and bled and died to free the U.S. from the British aristocracy.
The people who fought and died and risked everything only have their dream debased and forgotten a few short generations later by a cowardly, ignorant, and lazy citizenry. Most people in this country are too busy buying sneakers with lights in the heals or S.U.V.’s and wathching T.V.’s mind numbing propaganda to realize that a new and more userous aristocracy has taken over their government. One that denies them more and more the right to a decent life, and a fair wage, (if any at all), one that denies them of the basic stardard of any truely civilized country, namely, universal healthcare, one that poisons their air land and water. While at the same time it’s executives are reaping obscene riches and laughing over drinks with their friends. The American public is the most deeply and thoroughly and most dangerously brain-washed citizenry since Nazi Germany. Wake up, find a spine, grow a brain, and turn off your televisions. God help this country.
