Or we are becoming a nation of pragmatists...

...who are tired of the decades long debacle in the middle east and decided to put an end to it once and for all now that it has encroached upon our shores.

Instead of the wimpy, primarily self-serving bureaucratic mentality we are becoming a nation that realizes the pressing need to use its global power to implement change, stamp out tyranny and combat evil.

We take the bloody nose and keep on fighting. We're not going to pack up and let evil win anymore despite the many coward bureaucrats who would do exactly that.

Clinton went to war against Yugoslavia without any UN Security Council support and yet that was peachy-keen, because Clinton was one of them.

Gullibility is letting someone try to kill your President for stopping the takeover of another country, let them shoot at your planes endlessly, let them develop WMD and then sit on your hands like an idiot or a Frenchman too paralyzed with fear to do anything constructive.

Don't worry Don, in your bureaucratic world, highly influenced by those foreign policy expert socialists north of the border where LJ resides, Bush will always be a moron. That's fine. But for the rest of us that are tired of letting the towers fall and the world fall apart while we watch and do nothing - Bush is exactly what the doctor ordered.

The US is the sole global superpower and has responsibilities to the planet which other nations don't. In the post 9-11 world these obligations and their previous neglect have become painfully clear.

No more. Some passengers can sit and let the terrorists fly them and their children into a building and do nothing. For the rest of us who say, "Let's roll" - seeing you whine and complain about our actions as we head towards the cockpit is utterly hysterical and we suddenly realize why we are in this nightmarish situation in the first place.

Osama is right about Americans who cower before their limited, symbolic violence and sit like old maids in their homes with the curtains drawn down around them - it is these Americans who are weak and invite terror. The blowing up of children,, detonation of bombs and a continued policy of terror by those weak bullies who rely on fear to sustain their power, will be these folks reward for drawing the curtains.

It is for this same reason why France and Paris has been the terrorist's gathering point and exhibition grounds for over the last 100 years.
