We shouldn't be too hard on this guy, so far, the rest of the Republican hopefuls are a ludicrous gang of knee-walking turkeys, this is the only one that hasn't disqualified himself up front by either being an idiot, or crazier than a bedbug. Sure, he may be dull, but I voted for Mondale and Gore. You can do worse than dull.
Far be it from me to root for a guy that might conceivably beat Obama, but you have to remember the voter is fickle. A lot of time remains for some disaster to occur that could threaten Obama with defeat, we don't want to rule out any potential alternative that might actually turn out to be a tolerable substitute. From what I've seen so far, I'd much rather have Pawlenty in charge than...well, any of the rest of them clowns.
