No big analysis, just some impressions.

McClintock came off looking pretty good, with lots of specifics. Arnold gave good camera, and had more specifics than I expected, but you could tell he was still trying to locate a political foundation. Arianna drifted off constantly into anti-Bush rants, and won the cheap shot award for her digs at Arnold. Bustamente actually came off better than I thought he would, although he didn't have much for specifics, and you could tell he was uncomfortable. His answer for the problems of businesses leaving California was "more for education." Great, and when they graduate here, they can go to work in Texas. The Green Party guy spat a steady stream of socialism. Who cares.

I am really looking forward to seeing the polls in the next few days. I hope McClintock picked up some points.

I wish Gallegher had been there...
