Army? That's silly.
Don't these French read SFI? It wouldn't be the army but rather the Navy [or at least the Air Force].
Now, if they are talking about sub-orbitally inserting troops, it might be somewhat likely. But that's not really *in* Space. It's merely traveling through space to get anywhere in world quickly.
But anyways, it not going to happen any time soon- but if it was, it's not something I would dread.
