re: Need reference works in my computer
Sez the Broz; The dictionary and thesaurus on Word 2000 suck. Does anyone have a recommended third-party reference program that integrates nicely into Word, but is a lot more comprehensive?
This is one of the reasons I use Corel Wordperfect 10.0, the built in Oxford dictionary and thesaurus are quite good. If you want an even more extensive dictionary the bundled reference can be upgraded at a minor expense from Corel.
Besides, I ain't huckin up that many bucks for a Word Processing program that I have never quite been able to get along with.
As far as recomending addtional plug-in software for Word? I know that Webster has a rather complete Dict/Thes that plugs right in. I believe Britannica has one also.
