Novak--the writer of the article--mentions government officials, which REALLY narrows it down. Wilson says Novak told him they were administration officials, but that's what Wilson says. How does this differ from Novak's CNN account?

Wilson has a major axe to grind in this. What does Novak have? Who is more credible?

What flabbergasts me is that Novak, the guy who wrote the critical article that originally blew this open, says that nobody in the Bush administration released this information, yet the hounds in the press and Congress are acting like he never said anything at all. By God, they're going to chase this down no matter what the guy who should know says.
