This is worth reading. Although he links to something I've linked to before, it's worth rereading, too.
I'm arriving at the conclusion that the most pivotal thing we could do right now is bring some kind of closure on Saddam. I think a lot more pent-up positive attitudes and actions would result in Iraq.
