The grand old hangar at Moffett Field (Ames) is currently infested with PCBs or PCEs, or one of those scary things that will increase your cancer chances by 0.00005 percent if you sit in the hangar for twelve years, and is in disgrace. They are threatening to tear it down, which action would have the residents around here hanging both demolition workers and environmentalists from the top branches of the local palo altos.

I hope something can be done to save the place. They are now talking about applying some kind of sealant to the place. The idea that one can breath in a concentration of solvents in a building the size of a stadium whose full-height doors are usually wide open is inane at best.
