Trauma is often memorable.
If you are working for someone who could ruin your career, and you are physically assaulted by him, it qualifies as trauma. If you are in a position in which you can't even object or retaliate, it's oppressive.
"Offended" isn't the same thing.
Ask yourself this: if Arnold impulsively put his hand up your girlfriend's skirt and asked her if she had ever had a man's tongue in an intimate area, would it make you proud? If she were working for him at the time and feared retribution if she complained, whose side would you be on?
