What's its location have to do with anything? A billion dollars is still a billion dollars*. While you, as a rabid partisan, might condone looting the treasury of a billion dollars in a desperate attempt to vindicate Bush and prop up his flagging reelection prospects, I think reasonable people should be outraged at throwing good money after bad for a blatantly political purpose.

1200 inspectors, $300 million, a list of 500 sites based on supposedly solid intelligence, unimpeded access, and six months haven't done the job. Can you really claim with a straight face that flushing another $600 million down that toilet has any purpose other than to push the issue to the backburner until after the election?
