Aha....I smell a rat.
Recently released internal memos from Enron meetings tell of a meeting between Ken Lay and Arnold with the possibility of them recalling Davis for political purposes.....that being to shut down the lawsuit that Davis and Bustamante had to make the power companies liable to give back the 9 billion they milked from Californians during the trumped-up "power shortages". With Arnold in power, they would only have to give back two cents for every dollar, whereas with Davis or Bustamonte, they would have to give it ALL back. If they can prove this, or make it look like it's possible, and it has legs leading all the way up to the White House, then it's "Hasta la vista, baby!" for Arnold.
