re: A free patrimonium

Our astronomy club originated in Brussels back in 1976.
When I joined it in 1994, we were more and more going to Gembloux, 45 km south of Brussels, where the Milky Way is still visible.
People in big cities don't look at the heavens anymore. It's very difficult to draw their attention to this magnificient free patrimonium right up there.
But people living away from cities, in smaller towns, are more interested.
That's why it was possible to give a conference on Mars last saturday, in Gembloux.in a library and have an audience.
