Just saw the movie "Dreamcatcher", starring Morgan Freeman
Scary alien invasion movie, based on the book by Stephen King. The plot darkens right from the start, the winter setting is like sound-absorbers for the mind, and the evil gets more and more evil. The movie is over 2 hours long, well worth the rental.
