Regardless of our own position in the bell curve
Most of us live and work among the first standard deviation.
In spite of the mass taste for the tastless, most of them get it. Clinton's popularity never flagged with the common folk. There was no resonance with the sex scandal but some resonated with the lying under oath scandal. Maybe it is wrong to hold elected officials to a higher standard. The majority seemed to think so.
Personally I am impressed with the collective wisdom of those that reside in the center of the political bell curve and to hell with the IQ curve. It is this center that cuts through the BS and elects a candidate from a minority party like the GOP. The Dems need to chew on that.
