Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? Bush knows!
Senator Jay Rockefeller weighs in with the recent Democratic tack of accusing Bush not of lying--which has failed spectacularly so far--but of somehow forcing people to come to erroneous conclusions using the vast power of his brain to cloud men's minds.
[Rockefeller:] "If the word 'imminent threat' wasn't used, that was the predicate, that was the feeling that was given to the American people. And to the Congress whose vote the president clearly was trying to argue, or to convince during the course of that State of the Union message."
There is, of course, no argument possible with someone who says you made him think something, regardless of what you actually said.
The rest of the article rubs Rockefeller's nose in a lot of other things. Good reading.
I have a great Photoshop of Bush as The Shadow, which I wish I could post here.
