Another liberal fawns over Wesley Clark.

Here. At least he doesn't drool quite as much as Trudeau, and is considerably smarter.

A cynic might say that Clark was pulled from central casting by the Powers That Be to fill an obvious "national security" gap in the Democratic lineup. That the uniform matters a hell of a lot more to the Democratic kingmakers than Clark's political positions has become obvious over the past weeks. A single sentence stands out in this article: "Gen. Clark is highly electable for 2004; the other Democratic candidates are not."

To someone who remembers the 60s, or at least the early 70s, the spectacle of a liberal demanding a military leader for president is definitely worth the price of admission.
