The glass isn't shattered, but the vehicle is torn apart. If you look at the middle pane you can see it is pushing out from the inside. As we can see the savages in the middle east are well funded and using powerful explosives.
This vehicle clearly wasn't threat level four and was completely unprepared for a underside bomb.
Advanced armorers know that to survive an underside bomb requires very sophisticated techniques. One must not keep the interior fully sealed - as this contains the shock wave and tears open the vehicle as happened to this van. Shock portholes are built into the floor boards which channel the explosions blast through the passenger compartment and the car merely lifts up a few feet and then returns to earth - preferably upside up and still operational.
Each technique has drawbacks though because these portals leave the car vulnerable to an underside gas grenade attack. Each vehicle usually has to be suited to the threat. Paved roads always make for much safer travel because the savages can't bury anything easily.
The shockwave of an unopened car when such a bomb goes off usually kills the occupants instantly. Such concussive force was instrumental in the death of Diana in the armored Mercedes even when it ploughed into a cement obstacle at high speed.
Pretty soon the countless numbers of violent and ignorant Palestinians will get their wish - and meet their maker in larger numbers than ever before thought possible. This was another big tactical mistake like the countless others. Pretty soon Bush will be letting Israel off it's short leash. In fact, the gunships are probably warming up as I type this.
Ignorance does not equal evil, but ignorance is used by evil. In the middle east evil uses lots and lots of folks. Meanwhile much of the far left subconsciously rejoices in the anti-US victory and hope that somehow US deaths will make Bush less popular or delegitimize the ousting of Saddam Hussein.
Don't hold your breath.
