It's apparently a slow-growing, highly treatable form of cancer...thank God, because my brother was diagnosed with it several years ago. It'll still be a couple of years before he can officially say he's beaten it (after 10 years, I think it is), but he's doing well.
Sounds like De Niro will be fine.
