Geomagnetic storm warning and aurora watch
Along with a class X coronal mass ejection which has produced a geomagnetic storm warning said to hit earth Friday. Sun spot 484 is so large it can house 100 earths in its circumference. I heard on the radio that the CME is traveling a 100 million miles an hour, but that's radio.
There is also a chance for Aurora sightings in mid northern latitudes which includes Northern Belgium and in the US states as low as Oregon.
SpaceWeather has more and photo of Aurora seen in Wisconsin last night.
Remember when viewing the sun to wear the proper eye protection.
