You know, it's entirely possible that news sources that call Rowe "America's Joseph Goebbels" might be suspected of being less than objective. Who's really doing the spinning here?
The New York Times on the other hand, is just miffed that the American public no longer thinks the sun shines out of its butt and goes elsewhere for its news.
