I'm not staying awake at night either worrying about Kansas City actually being razed for prairie dogs. But these people's ideas got neutral treatment by the press and other pundits, if not outright sympathy. And if this is how the idea of confiscation of half of America is received, what chance is there of getting skeptical analysis of less onerous proposals by these same people? Endangered species laws in California have gotten psychotic already.
