"Do-Not-Call" Scam . . .
Just mentioned on MSNBC that con artists are taking the place of telemarketer calls, seeking ID-theft. Pretending to be Federal Officers, they call private homes, asking if they are on the government's much-publicized do-not-call list. If you are, they commend you and leave. If you say you are not, they offer to sign you up -- provided you provide "certain facts" about yourself.

A word of caution to all here,
Dan
