Burt Rutan has been busy lately
In addition to his work on his X-Prize SpaceShipOne project and the recently announced DARPA air launched light booster project called Rascal, it seems his company (Scaled Composites) is building a single place jet called GlobalFlyer</> to carry either Richard Branson or Steve Fosset around the world non-stop, non-refueled in 80 hours. Man, if I were a young aeronautical engineer, I couldn't imagine a more interesting place to work than Scaled.
