Dog That Did Nothing In The Nighttime Dept.: No strikes. No citizen uprisings.
In spite of threats, and a massive effort to get the population going, nothing much has happened with the Iraqi population. Sure, we are getting heavy guerilla activity, but as far as I have found (let me know if someone has more information than I do) there are no strikes, no uprisings, no "Day of Resistance" on the part of the general populace--nothing. Some people might consider this a positive sign that most Iraqis do not support the Baathists.
Also interesting is that this whole "Day of Resistance" story dropped into a black hole when it was obvious that it wasn't developing into anything.
