You forget we are now pumping two million barrells of Iraqui oil per day to keep our SUV's rolling.
And look what this war is doing for our economy and jobs. The Center for Public Integrity released their analysis of $8.billion in contracts that were awarded to 71 US companies by the Pentagon, State Department and A.I.D. These contractors have given $30.million to the GOP. and $500,000. directly to Duhbya's campaign chest. This should prove to you the value of wise investment. Look at the returns.
KBR/Halliburton (VP Cheney' former company) $ 2.3 billion in contracts.
Betchtel $ 1 billion
IAP Worldwide Services $527 million
Perini $525 million
Contrack International $ 500 million
You fail to recognize that Bush is the first US president to introduce the concept of privatization to war. Bush is relying on the private-sector to rebuild Iraq and Afghaniston. US contractors are fixing roads, airports, power systems, oil facilities, schools and government buildings. Private companies are training police, armies, and developing school curricula. I am sure the next step will be to ease into having these efforts become a faith-based initiative project.
Everything in Iraq and Afghanistan is being done in the most efficient manner possible. The confusion that would result in competitive bidding on contracts has been eliminated. Most contracts have simply been awarded, thus saving time and assuring team players have gotten the contracts.
Look at the new motto for the Retardlican Party, "first you pay, then we let you play." You should be excited in the anticipation of this trickling down to you and in gratitude should show your support for preznit.
Cheers, Publius
don't forget the benefits Bush is bringing to the country from his war....
