Leonids most likely, you think? They are supposed to peak (10 per hour) around the 18th or 19th this month. I read last month that not many were expecting to see flashes on the moon during the peak do to the shower would be coming from the back side of the moon. I could be wrong.
Very cool though, would love to see some pics.
