Take someone who is disgruntled, unhappy and socially impaired and put them on a platform to speak and they will likely aim at the jugular of what they perceive to be the most powerful force in the world.

America is the most powerful nation and by default attracts the hostility of these modern day Bolsheviks. If the US is for it - it must be evil. Therefore the US' enemies are our friends. Nevermind that the Iraqi resistance is composed of Baathists and terrorists who would just as soon blow off these Italians heads as look at them, but that just illustrates the widespread lack of knowledge and apparent moral vacuity the far left seems to operate within.

Bolsheviks were far worse than the Tsars they replaced and many millions more died under far left regimes than died by the hands of even the very worst fascists.

Psychological problems and perpetual unhappiness leads some folks to look outside themselves for the cause of their problems and wise folks realize if they are unhappy they really only have themselves to blame.

The former will look around forever and enable their perpetual unhappiness in a constant shift of blame with the passing of the years (Reagan is the enemy! America is the problem! Bush is the antichrist! Rush is the reason! Lying liars are the problem! Republicans are messing up the world!) The latter will look in the mirror and say, "Your life is messed up. Fix it." These folks are on the true path to personal happiness and balance. When your car needs a tune up - it's not the time to suggest your neighbor get his brakes done.

Europe has vast disparity in educational standards and you will find that the socialism has helped to create many imbalanced individuals in these nations that embrace socialism to any serious degree. Imperialism is the Bolshevik cry and was as false now as it was then.
