You could be right Robert. It could take a while for the jobs in demand to reflect the higher salaries. They did note that astronomers did have an increase this year. Maybe next year at this time it will show differently.
What I thought interesting is how the weak labor market has affected the decrease in scientist salaries. I guess you would have to verify that at salary.com. though.
