re: Old cockroaches move more slowly than young ones
That's what I love about the field of Science. They are always coming up with such practical studies that improve the world's understanding of nature. I mean who'd a thought that in the year 2003 such scientific progress could be made? It makes me dream of what kind of science my grandchildren will read about in 50 years. Perhaps they will discover that this breakthrough is not confined solely to cockroaches? What if there is a direct correlation to aging in humans? Of course in 50 years I'll be 79 so some scientist ought to start researching this possibility right away.
sarcastically yours,
