Haven't looked at it in complete detail (who could?), but it's loaded with pork (including the usual ethanol goodie for the farm states and ADM), and doesn't get us the oil drilling we need. There's some good news--it doesn't contain the environmental economy killers that the Democrats would have added. Also, at least it recognizes the existence of nuclear power, but we don't need more light water reactors. We need modern designs.

All in all, like most major bills we've seen that are Democratic/Republican spend-something-in-every-district kludges, this is probably a lot of spending for not much result.

Will look into it further. Maybe.
