Being cryptic is the accusation being handed to Hart. Trudeau suggested that he be left alone.
As Trudeau understands satire very well, chances are he is defending Hart's right to present the world in the satirical vein of his choice.
As for Trudeau being a bigot, he's no more a bigot than some of the conservatives that smack the word "treason" around like it's the birdie on a badminton court. He also has the good grace to lampoon people and characters across the political spectrum. To define him as a bigot is to use a very broad definition of that word. Most of the time, bigots are focused on a very specific, if sometimes very large, group. Someone who hates almost everybody isn't usually considered a bigot, but a misanthrope. Someone who makes fun of almost everybody isn't usually considered a bigot, either, but a satirist.
That doesn't mean the objects of his satire are required to find him funny. It's a measure of his success at his craft that people are so angry they call him names.

I didn't say you did.
